In the 6th minute of the match San Pablo FC got a corner. Flamenco United's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Epifanio Orti ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on San Pablo FC's corner Epifanio Orti fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Charlie Vereyt quite easily take care of the ball. 7 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joe De Raedemaeker came free, but Benigno Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Jose Beaufort hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Benigno Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gillis Van Dongel in the 16th minute of the match. Giovanni Van Bael kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Charlie Vereyt was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Epifanio Orti. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gillis Van Dongel in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benigno Bernaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benigno Bernaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yannik Imberechts, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joe De Raedemaeker in the 36th minute of play forced San Pablo FC's goalkeeper Benigno Bernaldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. San Pablo FC's Benigno Bernaldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jose Beaufort in the 44th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Feo to strike the kick off in the second half. Flamenco United's Jose Beaufort got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benigno Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yannik Imberechts in the 56th minute of the match. After 57 played minutes Flamenco United got a freekick which was hit by Jose Beaufort. Charlie Vereyt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristobal Cordeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, San Pablo FC's Isidoro Gaueko got a free kick in the 62nd minute. The supporters of San Pablo FC booed when Flamenco United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Dechamps didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, San Pablo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Yannik Imberechts came free, but Benigno Bernaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yannik Imberechts got free with Benigno Bernaldo in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benigno Bernaldo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Jose Beaufort sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute Cristobal Cordeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charlie Vereyt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
