With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilesindo Abancens in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley Meira saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. In the 12th minute, Sandrinho Quintal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Maverick Futebol Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Barrios came free, but Wesley Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When C.A. Husky's Amadeo Barrios in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Meira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 23rdth minute of the game Amadeo Barrios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maverick Futebol Clube's Wesley Meira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilesindo Abancens in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wesley Meira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Barrios in the 26th managed to get into a good position. In the 27th match minute, Maverick Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Tinoco to maneuver through the defense. Wesley Meira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilesindo Abancens in the 30th minute of play. Franco Vázquez hit a great ball. Maverick Futebol Clube's Wesley Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Guijarro in the 35th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Amadeo Barrios had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wesley Meira. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Barrios was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. When Iamín Leseduarte fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.A. Husky's protests and gave Iamín Leseduarte a yellow card for diving instead. Iamín Leseduarte hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

50 minutes into the game, João Tinoco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maverick Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A. Husky the free kick. The supporters of C.A. Husky booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felip Etxeberria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Tinoco in the 56th minute of play. Gilesindo Abancens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Wesley Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 played minutes C.A. Husky got a freekick which was hit by Franco Vázquez. After 61 played minutes, Maverick Futebol Clube's Vágner Proença shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Felip Etxeberria came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maverick Futebol Clube reached it. Raimundo Abraão struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Felip Etxeberria didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maverick Futebol Clube. In the 63rd match minute, C.A. Husky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alba Cabada to maneuver through the defense. Sandrinho Quintal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Felip Etxeberria having to make a save. 65 minutes into the match, C.A. Husky's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho Quintal came free, but Felip Etxeberria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Laerte Sergipano sped through C.A. Husky's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felip Etxeberria. After a defensive mix-up in Maverick Futebol Clube's zone, Adolfo Zárate stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Meira came out of the goal and Adolfo Zárate tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Felip Etxeberria took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laerte Sergipano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Felip Etxeberria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sílvio Luiz Vidal's late challenge caught a C.A. Husky's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Luiz Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. João Tinoco hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Iamín Leseduarte kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Amadeo Barrios in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wesley Meira, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Husky supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing C.A. Husky would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
