Leon Mnich kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reynaldo Torres in the 6th minute of play forced Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Izydor Walec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sílvio de Lima's late challenge caught a Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio de Lima helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Galo do Japi got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio de Lima. Robinho Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witomir Marczyniec, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute, Evaristo Salles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Izydor Walec was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Ludwiczak came free, but Robinho Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin booed when Galo do Japi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Izydor Walec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Veloso, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. Sílvio de Lima hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Witomir Marczyniec fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robinho Cerezo having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Carlos Fernando Veloso made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Salles came free, but Izydor Walec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucjan Domala hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Izydor Walec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco Eger went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to Galo do Japi getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Benedito Bittencourt hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when Zbyszek Ludwiczak came free, but Robinho Cerezo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedito Bittencourt during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Benedito Bittencourt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 minutes of play, Galo do Japi's Sílvio de Lima made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Izydor Walec was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carlos Fernando Veloso kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Zbyszek Ludwiczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
