The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Giorgos Kakos came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Wetterqvist Boys BK's Jon Sjöberg. But to his dismay, Jon Sjöberg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Akis Kaglantge took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emil Göransson. Emil Göransson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Emil Göransson came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Unione Sportiva's Iakchos Hagias. But to his dismay, Iakchos Hagias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 15 minutes into the game, Jon Sjöberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Giorgos Kakos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Ian Ek fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wetterqvist Boys BK's protests and gave Ian Ek a yellow card for diving instead. Emil Göransson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Akis Kaglantge, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Emil Göransson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Wetterqvist Boys BK from getting a goal against them. Giorgos Kakos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Oskar Simonsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 31 minutes into the match, Akis Kaglantge dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emil Göransson, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Poias Nikolakopoulos in the 36th minute of play forced Wetterqvist Boys BK's goalkeeper Emil Göransson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the last second Emil Göransson throw himself and got hold of the ball when Poias Nikolakopoulos in the 36thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 38th minute of the match Unione Sportiva got a corner. Wetterqvist Boys BK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tityos Tourna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bengt-Åke Persson hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Emil Göransson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Tityos Tourna. Giorgos Kakos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Simonsson in the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, Unione Sportiva's Akis Kaglantge made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emil Göransson was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Akis Kaglantge was the one to do the kick off. Akis Kaglantge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emil Göransson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iakchos Hagias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute, Poias Nikolakopoulos made a precise shot to the right of Emil Göransson. Wetterqvist Boys BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-2. 59 minutes into the game, Wetterqvist Boys BK's Karl-Oskar Simonsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Giorgos Kakos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-3. Karl-Oskar Simonsson received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giorgos Kakos came out and tried to block the shot, but Karl-Oskar Simonsson slotted it home off the left post making it 5-4 in the 62nd minute. In the 66th minute, Akis Kaglantge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Unione Sportiva fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-4. 71 minutes into the match, Karl-Oskar Simonsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giorgos Kakos. Unione Sportiva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karl-Oskar Simonsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-5. Wetterqvist Boys BK's Emil Göransson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tityos Tourna in the 74th minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Wetterqvist Boys BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bengt-Åke Persson to maneuver through the defense. After 79 minutes, Adam Näfver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wetterqvist Boys BK and the Unione Sportiva players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 80th minute, Adam Näfver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Akis Kaglantge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Emil Göransson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Wetterqvist Boys BK's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Kaglantge came free, but Emil Göransson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Jon Sjöberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wetterqvist Boys BK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-6. In the 89thth minute of the game Iakchos Hagias who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wetterqvist Boys BK's Emil Göransson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Apsyrtos Papadelias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Unione Sportiva's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
