Martin Marko started the match with the kick off. With 3 minutes on the clock, Rueben Sutherland commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The supporters of LA MAQUINA F.C booed when Carlisle United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rueben Sutherland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gareth Vaughn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jesus Lixandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Carlisle United's Hugh Tyson got a free kick in the 16th minute. The audience was convinced that Joel Llope's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danny Paine was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. If Gareth Vaughn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Carlisle United's Danny Paine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Tallia in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, David Santo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Danny Paine was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 32 minutes into the match, David Santo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Danny Paine. Carlisle United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Santo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Roberto Tallia struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Danny Paine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LA MAQUINA F.C. Gareth Vaughn struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 51st minute, Joel Llope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to LA MAQUINA F.C getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Joel Llope hit a great ball. Duncan Draper succeeded in the game's 53rd minute to get real power on a long shot . LA MAQUINA F.C's Laureano Niguel hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 1-3! In the 58th minute Roberto Tallia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Paine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danny Paine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Lixandro, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Danny Paine was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roberto Tallia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 61 minute of play. When Jesus Lixandro came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the LA MAQUINA F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jesus Lixandro couldn't finish the play. Aaron Llorienzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Danny Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Carlisle United's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Llope came free, but Danny Paine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron Llorienzo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danny Paine having to interfere. 76 minutes into the match, Jesus Lixandro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Danny Paine, 1-5. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Danny Paine successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Aaron Llorienzo managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA MAQUINA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Llorienzo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Paine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LA MAQUINA F.C made a substitution. Prospero Gelmiro replaced Jesus Lixandro. Prospero Gelmiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Danny Paine tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danny Paine came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by LA MAQUINA F.C's Aaron Llorienzo. But to his dismay, Aaron Llorienzo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Joel Llope charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joel Llope the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Prospero Gelmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. LA MAQUINA F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
