Spectators: 187 (Terracing: 141, Seating: 43, VIP seats: 3) Brusselse Ketjes's Camiel Van Aken started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, one of Brusselse Ketjes:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Brusselse Ketjes. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Jonathan De Diego hit a great ball. In the 12th minute of the match Frank De Bisschop shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Gutierrez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 15th match minute, Brusselse Ketjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sylven De Wortelaer to maneuver through the defense. After 18 played minutes ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ got a freekick which was hit by Elias Paredes. After 20 minutes, Camiel Van Aken made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Sergio Gutierrez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Brusselse Ketjes getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Sylven De Wortelaer hit a great ball. After 28 played minutes, Brusselse Ketjes's Serge Van Looy shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sergio Gutierrez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Brusselse Ketjes reached it. In the 37th minute Camiel Van Aken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Brusselse Ketjes fans' excitement grew in the 43rd match minute when Brusselse Ketjes's Camiel Van Aken looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Paredes to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Brusselse Ketjes's Wim De Boeck got a free kick in the 51st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Brusselse Ketjes's zone, Calito Gutierrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dominik Jansens came out of the goal and Calito Gutierrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 60 minutes into the match, Brusselse Ketjes's goal looked a bit too open when Beto Centella came free, but Dominik Jansens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jaime Calderón hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Sylven De Wortelaer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sergio Gutierrez. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camiel Van Aken in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Gutierrez saved ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ from getting behind. Sergio Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camiel Van Aken in the 64th minute of the match. Dominik Jansens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Centella in the 73rd minute of play. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Toto Rios hit a great ball. In the 81st minute of the match Brusselse Ketjes got a corner. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Serge Van Looy ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sam-Lucas Mangelschot's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Sergio Gutierrez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Brusselse Ketjes's Frank De Bisschop got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Sergio Gutierrez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Camiel Van Aken in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Gutierrez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sergio Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serge Van Looy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Sergio Gutierrez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camiel Van Aken in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th match minute, Brusselse Ketjes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocky Dirickx to maneuver through the defense. Brusselse Ketjes were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ to leave the ground with a draw.
