The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Regis during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, one of Cabrera FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cabrera FC. In the 9th minute, Samuca Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Efrain Perrando was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The supporters of Cabrera FC booed when Ekzema F.V. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duda Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atilano Urbasa got free with Norberto Barreto in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Ekzema F.V.'s Fabinho Sarmento got a free kick in the 15th minute. Efrain Perrando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerônimo Batista in the 19th minute of the match. A collision led to Cabrera FC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Gaudencio Gomesano hit a great ball. After 26th play minutes Benedicto Gines shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Norberto Barreto and just under the crossbar into goal. Ruperto Palos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Jerônimo Batista took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Efrain Perrando. Efrain Perrando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The Ekzema F.V. fans' excitement grew in the 41st match minute when Ekzema F.V.'s Jerônimo Batista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After the first half Ekzema F.V. were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Murilo Paes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jerônimo Batista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benedicto Gines took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Norberto Barreto. Norberto Barreto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Murilo Paes took a quick shot and it went in 2-5 without a chance for Efrain Perrando to make any attempt to save it. Ekzema F.V.'s Norberto Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Urbasa in the 65th minute of play. Murilo Paes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Efrain Perrando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Murilo Paes got free with Efrain Perrando in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jerônimo Batista might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Efrain Perrando. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jerônimo Batista ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the game, Pedro Luís de Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ekzema F.V.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cabrera FC the free kick. In the 74th minute, Pedro Luís de Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 75th minute of the match Isidro Oihan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Norberto Barreto skillfully saved the ball. Murilo Paess short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Efrain Perrando to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gaudencio Gomesano kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the game, Murilo Paes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Efrain Perrando was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerônimo Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Efrain Perrando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Cabrera FC's zone, Jerônimo Batista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Perrando came out of the goal and Jerônimo Batista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
