The tension between the GreenUnited and the Montesclarense E.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for GreenUnited! When the match had been going on for 42 minutes, Montesclarense E.C.'s Eusébio Ramalho got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Oliviero Bono. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Eusébio Ramalho sped through GreenUnited's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Oliviero Bono. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lop Ramallal to strike the kick off in the second half. Oliviero Bono took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luís Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oliviero Bono showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Ramalho in the 83rd minute of the match. Montesclarense E.C. walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
