In the 8th minute, Gaitán Urenda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salomone Comas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurde Caño in the 9th minute of the match. AJ Juventus FC's Loi Icazate played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Vidal in the 10th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Colo-Colo got a freekick which was hit by David Israel Epulef. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Báez in the 18th minute of play forced AJ Juventus FC's goalkeeper Loi Icazate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Salomone Comas came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by AJ Juventus FC's Dayam Carces. But to his dismay, Dayam Carces quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 24th minute Arturo Vidal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loi Icazate saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loi Icazate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenico Báez in the 26th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Domenico Báez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Colo-Colo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Loi Icazate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Domenico Báez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabin Mexia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Salomone Comas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to AJ Juventus FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Aquiles Morcillo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenico Báez in the 38th minute of play forced AJ Juventus FC's goalkeeper Loi Icazate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Loi Icazate came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Colo-Colo's Domenico Báez. But to his dismay, Domenico Báez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Colo-Colo's goal looked a bit too open when Baumer Ocio came free, but Salomone Comas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Arturo Vidal took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Loi Icazate to make any attempt to save it. In the 68th minute, Aquiles Morcillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Domenico Báez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Loi Icazate. That made the score 1-4 in the 71 minute of play. After a rather tough play, AJ Juventus FC's Aquiles Morcillo got a free kick in the 79th minute. With an all-out effort, Colo-Colo's Loi Icazate threw himself towards the right post 81 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from David Israel Epulef, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Loi Icazate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arturo Vidal in the 86th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Xurde Caño's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salomone Comas was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. When the final whistle sounded Colo-Colo left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than AJ Juventus FC.
