The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 22nd minute, Tanju Çolak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marco Elorri was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Marco Elorri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tanju Çolak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Virila got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Horacio Nuñez. Tanju Çolak kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Nevşehirspor's Tanju Çolak was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 38th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ulu Şavat to make the kick off. The Altos Gatos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Elorri should have stopped the shot. The referee felt a red card was in order, 75 minutes into the game, when Feliberto Virila put in a rough tackle. 75 minutes into the game, one of Altos Gatos FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Nevşehirspor. Tanju Çolak stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marco Elorri. 11-0. 83 minutes into the game, Nevşehirspor's Tanju Çolak nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot.
