Gabriel Marques took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pepe Concellon. Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 5th minute, Alex Aliprando left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Obrero Barquisimeto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Alex Aliprando in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. After 16 played minutes, Obrero Barquisimeto's Berart Macias shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Franklin Negri came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Obrero Barquisimeto reached it. After 18 played minutes BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS got a freekick which was hit by Ulisses do Valle. After a rather tough play, Obrero Barquisimeto's Cleto Nao got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Gabriel Marques sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pepe Concellon skillfully saved the ball. Aloísio de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Pepe Concellon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franklin Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristiano Chanza in the 28th minute of the match. When Otilio Galindez came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Obrero Barquisimeto fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Otilio Galindez couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Aloísio de Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pepe Concellon. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pepe Concellon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Marco Loyola managed to get in a good position for a shot. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's supporters rose to their feet, but Marco Loyola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pepe Concellon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleto Nao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alex Aliprando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS's Franklin Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otilio Galindez in the 67th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Mederi Ribas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Obrero Barquisimeto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS the free kick. The referee gave BK TECH EQUIPAMENTOS a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gabriel Marques, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Obrero Barquisimeto's Pepe Concellon. 1-4. In the 74th minute Aloísio de Brito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pepe Concellon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
