Iordache Minea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualtier Gersten in the 12th minute of play. In the 23rdth minute of the game Bruno Steiner who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Iordache Minea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Janis Locher hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Iordache Minea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Steiner in the 27th minute of the match. Iordache Minea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Steiner in the 29th minute of play. Iordache Minea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Steiner's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Bruno Steiner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Iordache Minea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ferdinand Murgescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Paolo Bur. That made the score 1-6 in the 45 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-6 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ferdinand Murgescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Iordache Minea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Steiner in the 56th minute of the match. The supporters of Olympique Fribourg booed when YR☆ Rossoneri™ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Marica didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Matthias Bettinelli sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iordache Minea skillfully saved the ball. Olympique Fribourg's Paolo Bur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Bordeanu in the 59th minute of play. Errol Marbach hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When Matthias Bettinelli fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olympique Fribourg's protests and gave Matthias Bettinelli a yellow card for diving instead. Bruno Steiner kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Eric Marica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. YR☆ Rossoneri™'s Iordache Minea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Steiner in the 81st minute of play. Bruno Steiner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Iordache Minea made a huge save. When Olympique Fribourg's Bruno Steiner in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye YR☆ Rossoneri™'s goalie prevented a goal. Iordache Minea was a little too slow when Bruno Steiner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-7. The Olympique Fribourg supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Olympique Fribourg would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
