Ceferino Barrios was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. David Johans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Soldado in the 38th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albi Tobias in the 39th minute of play forced Defensores de Belén's goalkeeper David Johans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Federico Soldado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Velasco Pujol was the one to do the kick off. David Johans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naike Fuente in the 85th minute. Venancio Asier lost his temper 88 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Defensores de Belén fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty!
