The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anastasio Playo during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 played minutes North of California got a freekick which was hit by Anastasio Playo. After 14 played minutes JiOmaro got a freekick which was hit by Arif Nesefi. In the 16th minute, Roman Corderro had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Doğuhan Şenbay's late challenge caught a North of California's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Doğuhan Şenbay helped the player get up and apologised. North of California made a substitution. Maximino Lawrence replaced Roman Corderro. 27 minutes into the match, JiOmaro's goalkeeper Hidayet Taha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Celedonio Prejun. If Birant Tunçkılıç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Görkem Bostan fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JiOmaro's protests and gave Görkem Bostan a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes JiOmaro got a freekick which was hit by Görkem Bostan. Evelio Orti, 37 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 40th minute, Celedonio Prejun left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The North of California fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Celedonio Prejun managed to get in a good position for a shot. North of California's supporters rose to their feet, but Celedonio Prejun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hidayet Taha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. JiOmaro's Hidayet Taha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save JiOmaro from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gonzalo Chorche stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Celedonio Prejun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hidayet Taha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to JiOmaro getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Azmi Erdemalp hit a great ball. Hidayet Taha came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by North of California's Gonzalo Chorche. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Chorche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Hidayet Taha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celedonio Prejun in the 76th minute of play. JiOmaro's Hidayet Taha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Ereinotz in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the game, North of California's Celedonio Prejun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hidayet Taha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 87th minute, Felipe Ereinotz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hidayet Taha was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Hidayet Taha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Ereinotz, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After some careless play in the JiOmaro defense, Gonzalo Chorche kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hidayet Taha. The JiOmaro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hidayet Taha should have stopped the shot. North of California's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
