An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieter Haelemans in the 6th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Vivaldo Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vivaldo Paraíba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dieter Haelemans's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. After 12 minutes, Dieter Haelemans made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Vivaldo Paraíba tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute, Octave Keldermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tibau Van Der Linden came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the De krokante kroketjes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibau Van Der Linden couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dieter Haelemans in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vivaldo Paraíba saved Blumenau Esporte Clube from getting behind. Matias Diependaele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Augusto Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raymond Van Aerschodt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vivaldo Paraíba came out and tried to block the shot, but Raymond Van Aerschodt slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 36th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Vivaldo Paraíba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tibau Van Der Linden. Blumenau Esporte Clube's Vivaldo Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieter Haelemans in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieter Haelemans got free with Vivaldo Paraíba in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieter Haelemans in the 47th minute of play forced Blumenau Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Vivaldo Paraíba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when José Augusto Duarte made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dito Garcia during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of De krokante kroketjes booed when Blumenau Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dito Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 54th minute José Augusto Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matias Diependaele saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When José Augusto Duarte came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Blumenau Esporte Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Augusto Duarte couldn't finish the play. José Augusto Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Matias Diependaele tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of De krokante kroketjes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Blumenau Esporte Clube:s goal. In the 72nd minute, Flávio Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to De krokante kroketjes getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Kieth Uytdebroeck hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, De krokante kroketjes's Sam De Beer got a free kick in the 74th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Blumenau Esporte Clube's zone, Dieter Haelemans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivaldo Paraíba came out of the goal and Dieter Haelemans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 79 minutes into the game, Wesly Vischkens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De krokante kroketjes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Blumenau Esporte Clube the free kick. Wesly Vischkens hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Staf Van Essche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dieter Haelemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matias Diependaele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Meireles in the 92nd minute of the match. Dieter Haelemans recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. De krokante kroketjes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Blumenau Esporte Clube for a fine match.
