But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olexiy Bykaniv couldn't finish the play. Sergiy Moroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hüsmen Yiğithan in the 9th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barlas Talik during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Olexiy Bykaniv in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Batı Özbilek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Batı Özbilek came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by FC VERSHINA’dnipro's Volodymyr Kychak. But to his dismay, Volodymyr Kychak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 19th minute, Sergiy Lyakh hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the match, FC VERSHINA’dnipro's goalkeeper Sergiy Moroz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tolunay Tandan. During the 27th minute of the match Barlas Talik completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Barlas Talik a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 28th match minute, Carno FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barlas Talik to maneuver through the defense. Hüsrev Pekdeger's late challenge caught a FC VERSHINA’dnipro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hüsrev Pekdeger helped the player get up and apologised. Hüsrev Pekdeger hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Carno FK's Batı Özbilek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olexiy Bykaniv in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of FC VERSHINA’dnipro booed when Carno FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menderes Mertoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Menderes Mertoğlu fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carno FK's protests and gave Menderes Mertoğlu a yellow card for diving instead. Menderes Mertoğlu hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The Carno FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC VERSHINA’dnipro were winning 0-2.

52 minutes into the match, Carno FK's goal looked a bit too open when Olexiy Bykaniv came free, but Batı Özbilek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of FC VERSHINA’dnipro booed when Carno FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüsmen Yiğithan didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC VERSHINA’dnipro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Volodymyr Kychak got free with Batı Özbilek in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in FC VERSHINA’dnipro's zone, Hüsmen Yiğithan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sergiy Moroz came out of the goal and Hüsmen Yiğithan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Anatoliy Mintenko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Batı Özbilek came out and tried to block the shot, but Anatoliy Mintenko slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 74th minute. Carno FK's Batı Özbilek proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Carno FK from getting a goal against them. Sergiy Moroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsmen Yiğithan in the 83rd minute of play. Batı Özbilek didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 84th minute, which inside left pole to 0-5. Sergiy Moroz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüsmen Yiğithan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Olexiy Bykaniv's late challenge caught a Carno FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olexiy Bykaniv helped the player get up and apologised. In the 92nd match minute, FC VERSHINA’dnipro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olexiy Bykaniv to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Carno FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kostyantyn Biloshapka came free, but Batı Özbilek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over FC VERSHINA’dnipro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Carno FK throughout the match.
