The audience was convinced that Romário MacAlister's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fabian Jonsson was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. After having played for 22 minutes, Arvin Engman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Wingspan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arvin Engman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arvin Engman in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Riquelme saved Akira アキラ from getting behind. Fabian Jonsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romário MacAlister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Akira アキラ getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alfredão Fernandez hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Georg Aronsson during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 31st match minute, FC Wingspan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Georg Aronsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 36th minute, Romário MacAlister left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Akira アキラ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.

When the match clock showed 53 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Sven-Arne Tolsson sped through Akira アキラ's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Juan Riquelme. Juan Riquelme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Arne Tolsson in the 57th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Jürgen Klinsmann kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabian Jonsson. That made the score 2-3 in the 58 minute of play. Kléber Saraiva's late challenge caught a FC Wingspan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kléber Saraiva helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Kléber Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 61 played minutes, FC Wingspan's Per-Arne Sjöström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juan Riquelme came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Wingspan reached it. Délio Pontes scored 2-4 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Jonsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Akira アキラ's Juan Riquelme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Aronsson in the 74th minute of play. Délio Pontes kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Jürgen Klinsmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Jürgen Klinsmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Riquelme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arvin Engman's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Georg Aronsson took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juan Riquelme. Juan Riquelme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 91 minutes into the match, Arvin Engman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juan Riquelme. Akira アキラ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arvin Engman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
