Gaël Pillot might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alan de Medeiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gaël Pillot ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Achille Savignac managed to get in a good position for a shot. Le Stade Briochin UC's supporters rose to their feet, but Achille Savignac was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alan de Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Oséas das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Club Sacode Football CIMZ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oséas das Neves couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Club Sacode Football CIMZ's Iuri Santos got a free kick in the 19th minute. Alan de Medeiros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Truchet in the 20th minute. In the 22nd minute Gaël Pillot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Club Sacode Football CIMZ defense, Jack Truchet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alan de Medeiros. The Club Sacode Football CIMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alan de Medeiros should have stopped the shot. Achille Savignac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan de Medeiros having to interfere. A collision led to Club Sacode Football CIMZ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Aníbal Garcia hit a great ball. Le Stade Briochin UC made a substitution. Abraham Hudry replaced Batiste Talon. In the 43rd minute, Aníbal Garcia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes, Le Stade Briochin UC's Gaël Pillot shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alan de Medeiros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Le Stade Briochin UC reached it. 46 minutes into the game, Jorge Moreira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Faustin Payan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iuri Santos to strike the kick off in the second half. Faustin Payan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorge Moreira in the 51st minute of play. In the 54th minute, Le Stade Briochin UC's Richard Le Clanche seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Richard Le Clanche the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Le Stade Briochin UC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Richard Le Clanche had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 53 minutes into the game, one of Le Stade Briochin UC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 60th minute Iuri Santos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustin Payan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Club Sacode Football CIMZ booed when Le Stade Briochin UC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaël Pillot didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jorge Moreira hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Faustin Payan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Moreira in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Achille Savignac got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gaël Pillot took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alan de Medeiros. Alan de Medeiros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 76th minute Achille Savignac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan de Medeiros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute Jorge Moreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustin Payan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Faustin Payan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Santos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Oséas das Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustin Payan was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Charles Le Brun got a free kick in the 89th minute. Le Stade Briochin UC's Faustin Payan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Moreira in the 92nd minute of play. Jorge Moreira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faustin Payan came out and tried to block the shot, but Jorge Moreira slotted it home off the left post making it 2-4 in the 93rd minute. Le Stade Briochin UC's attack was well implemented in the 97th minute, but when Yannick Miquel was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. The Club Sacode Football CIMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Club Sacode Football CIMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
