Humberto Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31stth minute of the game Henrik Reifer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leon Sport Club's Humberto Senna was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Humberto Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klaus Mogg in the 34th minute of play. Humberto Senna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Reifer in the 40th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Cauan Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leon Sport Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Edmundo Freire hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Cauan Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Humberto Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus Mogg, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Klaus Mogg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Humberto Senna made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Klaus Mogg in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Adriano Teixeira hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Marcello Karger's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Senna was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcello Karger in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Klaus Mogg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Senna having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Richard Clemens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sydney FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Richard Clemens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Humberto Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 74 in the game by Marcello Karger from a close distance when the talented Humberto Senna managed to make a qualified save. Leon Sport Club's players were relieved. Rasmus Gölz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Arce in the 79th minute of play. Humberto Senna stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcello Karger's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente Arce in the 85th minute of play forced Sydney FC's goalkeeper Rasmus Gölz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Leon Sport Club booed when Sydney FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Mogg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henrik Reifer in the 89th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Humberto Senna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Klaus Mogg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
