Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kuuno Auru in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teemu Koponen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 6th minute Kuuno Auru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teemu Koponen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th match minute, Galand FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orvo Meltoranta to maneuver through the defense. 14 minutes into the game, Ander Arumäe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JK Kurevere's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galand FC the free kick. After some careless play in the Galand FC defense, Leopold Uibo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teemu Koponen. The Galand FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teemu Koponen should have stopped the shot. Aadolf Lehti succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. 29 minutes into the match, Leopold Uibo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Galand FC's Teemu Koponen. Teemu Koponen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Kuuno Auru managed to get in a good position for a shot. JK Kurevere's supporters rose to their feet, but Kuuno Auru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teemu Koponen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teemu Koponen came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by JK Kurevere's Kuuno Auru. But to his dismay, Kuuno Auru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. After 37 played minutes JK Kurevere got a freekick which was hit by Mario Mikiver. Orvo Meltoranta kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. When Petri Puranen fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galand FC's protests and gave Petri Puranen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 44th minute, Petri Puranen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herbert Hanson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teemu Koponen. Galand FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Kuuno Auru made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Galand FC's Teemu Koponen got control of the ball when Kuuno Auru tried to sneak it across the goal line. Olli-Pekka Grönvall hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Vallo Laada from long distance, 59 minutes into the match, got Teemu Koponen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 61 minutes into the match, Kuuno Auru dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teemu Koponen, 1-6. JK Kurevere made a substitution. Volli Laineste replaced Kuuno Auru. In the 67th minute, Volli Laineste made a precise shot to the right of Teemu Koponen. Galand FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-7. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Volli Laineste in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teemu Koponen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Volli Lainestes short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Teemu Koponen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 95 minutes into the game, Olli-Pekka Grönvall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galand FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JK Kurevere the free kick. The supporters of JK Kurevere booed when Galand FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olli-Pekka Grönvall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teemu Koponen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volli Laineste in the 97th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. JK Kurevere had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
