After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for JK Kurevere! JK Kurevere's Olavi Pulver proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save JK Kurevere from getting a goal against them. Frazer Scriven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lembitu Püss in the 14th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Dane Newman seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Dane Newman the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Elizabeth Three Lions FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Dane Newman had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 31 minutes into the game, one of Elizabeth Three Lions FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. JK Kurevere's Hannes Avaja got his second yellow card of the match in the 36th minute. After 44 played minutes, JK Kurevere's Ander Arumäe shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Frazer Scriven came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in JK Kurevere reached it. A collision led to Elizabeth Three Lions FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Kev Bryant hit a great ball. Frazer Scriven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuuno Auru, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for CJ Shephard to strike the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopold Uibo came free, but Frazer Scriven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. JK Kurevere made a substitution. Henri Viksi replaced Lembitu Püss. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Frazer Scriven proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Elizabeth Three Lions FC from getting a goal against them. Leopold Uibo took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Frazer Scriven. Frazer Scriven dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Volli Laineste in the 79th minute of play forced Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goalkeeper Frazer Scriven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Volli Laineste got free with Frazer Scriven in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elizabeth Three Lions FC's Frazer Scriven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopold Uibo in the 82nd minute of play. Cliff Beaver charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cliff Beaver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, Elizabeth Three Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cliff Beaver to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Elizabeth Three Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Volli Laineste came free, but Frazer Scriven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. JK Kurevere played a much better game than Elizabeth Three Lions FC and deserved their victory. The Elizabeth Three Lions FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
