After a rather tough play, Templários MZC's Rubinho Salles got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gösta Hylander hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Aron Åkerström got control of the ball when Olívio Souto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aron Åkerström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubinho Salles in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to Saint Glenn Gothenburg getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Valter Berggren hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Åke Sjöberg in the 29th minute of play forced Templários MZC's goalkeeper Ian Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 33 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Per-Åke Sjöberg sped through Templários MZC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ian Queirós. Aron Åkerström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Correia in the 37th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goalkeeper Aron Åkerström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olívio Souto. The audience was convinced that Nuno Correia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aron Åkerström was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half Saint Glenn Gothenburg were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Nuno Correia made the kick off in the second half. Aron Åkerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romário Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Nuno Correia took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aron Åkerström. Aron Åkerström dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. 64 minutes into the match, Per-Åke Sjöberg dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ian Queirós, 2-4. After some careless play in the Saint Glenn Gothenburg defense, Nuno Correia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aron Åkerström. The Saint Glenn Gothenburg fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Åkerström should have stopped the shot. In the 75th match minute, Templários MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Roberto Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. Per-Åke Sjöberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Ian Queirós when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 79 minutes into the match, Olívio Souto notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Saint Glenn Gothenburg's Aron Åkerström. Aron Åkerström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 83rd minute Olívio Souto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Åkerström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Saint Glenn Gothenburg's goal looked a bit too open when Nuno Correia came free, but Aron Åkerström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, one of Templários MZC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Templários MZC. 92 minutes into the match, Jack Kruuse notched a goal, 4-5, to the right of Templários MZC's Ian Queirós. Ian Queirós was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Saint Glenn Gothenburg players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
