In the 17th minute of the match Paulo de Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo George showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 19 minutes, Paulo de Toledo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC La Masia and the C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo de Toledo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 22nd match minute, FC La Masia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Washington Trevisan to maneuver through the defense. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Arturo George played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Washington Trevisan in the 26th minute of play. Arturo George was a little too slow when João Paulo Lucas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 31st minute of the match Paulo de Toledo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo George skillfully saved the ball. FC La Masia's Patrick Freire got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Fausto Cordara sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Olívio Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Arturo George made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fábio Custódio in the 58th minute of play. In the 66th minute Fausto Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olívio Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Prospero Curcio hit a great ball. In the 73rd minute of the match Paulo de Toledo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo George showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Paulo de Toledo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arturo George. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 94th minute, Atilano Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paulo de Toledo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 94th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arturo George. C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. FC La Masia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
