Empire of Soccer's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gladiator FC the free kick. After 10 played minutes Empire of Soccer got a freekick which was hit by Epeios Komninos. In the 11th minute of the match Beppe Rivera sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arkas Potamianos skillfully saved the ball. In the 12th minute Francesco Tabacco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkas Potamianos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardo Africano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arkas Potamianos having to make a save. In the 20th match minute, Empire of Soccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giorgos Manos to maneuver through the defense. In the 22nd minute, Beppe Rivera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arkas Potamianos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beppe Rivera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beppe Rivera to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Beppe Rivera took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Arkas Potamianos to make any attempt to save it. Bernardo Africano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkas Potamianos having to interfere. After having played for 56 minutes, Francesco Tabacco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gladiator FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Tabacco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stergios Michael kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Arkas Potamianos made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Bernardo Africano sent off a good shot on target. Arkas Potamianos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bernardo Africano showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 68 minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Arkas Potamianos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Empire of Soccer's Ptolemeus Bourikas got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 76th minute, Beppe Rivera fired a really elegant long shot, but Arkas Potamianos threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 77th minute, Giorgos Manos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Beppe Rivera in the 78th minute really tested Arkas Potamianos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Africano came free, but Arkas Potamianos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Di Tullio's late challenge caught a Empire of Soccer's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Di Tullio helped the player get up and apologised. 80 minutes into the game, one of Gladiator FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 83 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goalkeeper Arkas Potamianos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Donato Barone. In the 90thth minute of the game Beppe Rivera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Empire of Soccer's Arkas Potamianos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Empire of Soccer's goal looked a bit too open when Beppe Rivera came free, but Arkas Potamianos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Tabacco took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arkas Potamianos. Arkas Potamianos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Gladiator FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
