The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cesar Toribio made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Charles Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. 6 minutes into the match, ARMUS S.A. OFF's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Valle came free, but Cesar Toribio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Evelio Ruisko had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Patrick Machado. Dragões de Campo Grande's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Evelio Ruisko was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 17th minute, Carlos Alberto Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, ARMUS S.A. OFF's goalkeeper Cesar Toribio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Charles Fonseca. 25 minutes into the match, Nicasio Ermano notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dragões de Campo Grande's Patrick Machado. Patrick Machado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesar Toribio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Valle, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th match minute, ARMUS S.A. OFF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Ignazio to maneuver through the defense. Patrick Machado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Cordarrel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, ARMUS S.A. OFF's goalkeeper Cesar Toribio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim Marinho. The supporters of ARMUS S.A. OFF booed when Dragões de Campo Grande was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Alberto Paulista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicasio Ermano kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 played minutes Dragões de Campo Grande got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Neto. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Valle to make the kick off. Cesar Toribio came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dragões de Campo Grande's Raimundo Valle. But to his dismay, Raimundo Valle quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. If Raimundo Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dragões de Campo Grande's Raimundo Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Charles Fonseca's late challenge caught a ARMUS S.A. OFF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Charles Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Charles Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Charles Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 68 played minutes ARMUS S.A. OFF got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Luzea. Charles Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes Dragões de Campo Grande got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Fernando Pinheiro. In the 74th minute, Delmiro Luzea fired a really elegant long shot, but Patrick Machado threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Patrick Machado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basilio Fortun in the 76th minute of the match. In the 76th minute, Evelio Ruisko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Patrick Machado was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Cesar Toribio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruninho Rodrigues in the 81st minute of play. Charles Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Cesar Toribio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Dragões de Campo Grande was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo Donatello to maneuver through the defense. ARMUS S.A. OFF's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
