After 6 played minutes Maritek FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Fortuna. Maritek FC's Beppe Bassani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Benvenuto in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Claudio Monaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Claudio Monaco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alex Melone hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Amos Fallito took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 22nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiliano Miconi. AC Morena's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Christian Mariotti's late challenge caught a Maritek FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Mariotti helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to AC Morena getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Christian Mariotti hit a great ball. AC Morena's Emiliano Miconi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save AC Morena from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Di Sipio kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Fedele Varglien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Emiliano Miconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Fortuna hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After 37 played minutes, AC Morena's Concetto Curti shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Beppe Bassani came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AC Morena reached it. Fedele Varglien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Emiliano Miconi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Concetto Curti in the 47th minute of play forced Maritek FC's goalkeeper Beppe Bassani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anfilogino Benvenuto was the one to do the kick off. After having played for 55 minutes, Anfilogino Benvenuto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC Morena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anfilogino Benvenuto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emiliano Miconi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camillo Salomone in the 60th minute of the match. AC Morena's Anfilogino Benvenuto got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fedele Varglien in the 70th minute of play forced AC Morena's goalkeeper Emiliano Miconi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beppe Bassani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anfilogino Benvenuto went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 81 played minutes AC Morena got a freekick which was hit by Emiliano Giovannelli. Beppe Bassani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anfilogino Benvenuto in the 83rd minute. A collision led to Maritek FC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Amos Fallito hit a great ball. Concetto Curti got in the 85th minute the ball and tried a long shot which scored to the left of Beppe Bassani and thus it was 1-3. Anfilogino Benvenuto struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Beppe Bassani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Morena. Christian Mariotti hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 94th minute, Andrea Torri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amos Fallito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC Morena's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
