The supporters of Mystyc FC booed when Cardiff City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Piearres didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Dalmacio Cordaro in the 40th minute really tested Vladimiro Leobardo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to Mystyc FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Dalmacio Cordaro hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the match, Honorio Sotero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Raphael. Mystyc FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Sotero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. The supporters of Mystyc FC booed when Cardiff City FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Sotero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Moises Cordero to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Cardiff City FC's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Cordero came free, but Vladimiro Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eriberto Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edgard Estevez during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cardiff City FC's Godofredo Dacio got a free kick in the 67th minute. Vladimiro Leobardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Padro went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 73rd minute Eriberto Padro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Leobardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Navarro hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Eriberto Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cardiff City FC's Teo Iztal got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Honorio Sotero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
