The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Victory F.C.'s Ture Sury got a free kick in the 3rd minute. A collision led to Gladiadores getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Israel Gagriel hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Victory F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Pero came free, but Ricard Ledoseray reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 16 minutes, Mauricio Baldovino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gladiadores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauricio Baldovino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herluf Elmsti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudio Iturri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Lucio Montae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gladiadores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ture Sury hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Haakon Bindsted made a kick off. Evelio Baristo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. If Ture Sury had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Absalon Jølbæk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Iturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haakon Bindsted in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Gladiadores was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Montae to maneuver through the defense. Haakon Bindsted sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Gladiadores's Lucio Montae ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ricard Ledoseray. Ricard Ledoseray yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. If Mauricio Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricard Ledoseray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Montae, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Claudio Iturri came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Victory F.C.'s Ture Sury. But to his dismay, Ture Sury quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Florentino Gonchan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
