Wladimir Hattenbach recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emil Rzentkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wladimir Hattenbach in the 9th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Lothar Gobsch cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Emil Rzentkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emil Rzentkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Rohe in the 24th minute of play. With 26 minutes on the clock, Rurik Atan commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Rurik Atan kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Filip Brataniec, 28 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After 31 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Lothar Gobsch. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind DJK Füchtel Vechta's goalkeeper Gasparo Müller, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hjalmar Rilke in the 34th minute of play forced DS ACADEMY TEAM's goalkeeper Emil Rzentkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Tim Rohe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Emil Rzentkowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, DS ACADEMY TEAM's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Rohe came free, but Emil Rzentkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes DJK Füchtel Vechta got a freekick which was hit by Hjalmar Rilke. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute Lothar Gobsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emil Rzentkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DJK Füchtel Vechta played a much better game than DS ACADEMY TEAM and deserved their victory. The DS ACADEMY TEAM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
