In the 12th minute of the match Randers A.F.C. got a corner. StraX Xenon FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gordon Fuglevig ran over to the corner to take the kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ronald Forthoft got free with Gustaf Kaxe in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 16 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Harald Ingemarsson. 17 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goalkeeper Gustaf Kaxe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronald Forthoft. When Jack Öberg fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored StraX Xenon FC's protests and gave Jack Öberg a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th match minute, StraX Xenon FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Öberg to maneuver through the defense. After 21 minutes of play StraX Xenon FC's Harald Ingemarsson was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 25th minute of the match Randers A.F.C. got a corner. StraX Xenon FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gordon Fuglevig ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Randers A.F.C.'s corner Gordon Fuglevig fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gustaf Kaxe quite easily take care of the ball. Gustaf Kaxe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ronald Forthoft's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Gustaf Kaxe made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Svenning Westin sent off a good shot on target. 35 minutes into the match, StraX Xenon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ronald Forthoft came free, but Gustaf Kaxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Henry Vallengren hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute of the match Gordon Fuglevig shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gustaf Kaxe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gustaf Kaxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gordon Fuglevig in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Ronald Forthoft made a precise shot to the right of Gustaf Kaxe. StraX Xenon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henry Vallengren was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gordon Fuglevig in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaf Kaxe saved StraX Xenon FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronald Forthoft in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustaf Kaxe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the match, Ronald Forthoft had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gustaf Kaxe. StraX Xenon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronald Forthoft was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ronald Forthoft during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gustaf Kaxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronald Forthoft in the 79th minute of play. 81 minutes into the game, Ronald Forthoft cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Gustaf Kaxe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, StraX Xenon FC's Leif Gernberg got a free kick in the 85th minute. Jack Öberg got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 88 played minutes StraX Xenon FC got a freekick which was hit by Jack Öberg. The Randers A.F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 93rd match minute when Randers A.F.C.'s Ronald Forthoft looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Randers A.F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
