When Brion Abel came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Octavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brion Abel couldn't finish the play. 14 minutes into the match, Ares FC -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Brion Abel came free, but Horia Hulubei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Yebra came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Ares FC -MM-'s Cazimir Dijmărescu. But to his dismay, Cazimir Dijmărescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Brion Abel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Octavia's Brion Abel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Horia Hulubei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cazimir Dijmărescu in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Yebra prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Horia Hulubei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brion Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Cazimir Dijmărescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Yebra having to interfere. The supporters of Octavia booed when Ares FC -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cazimir Dijmărescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brion Abel in the 46th minute of play forced Ares FC -MM-'s goalkeeper Horia Hulubei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th match minute, Ares FC -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Petran to maneuver through the defense.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cazimir Dijmărescu made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Cazimir Dijmărescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ares FC -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cazimir Dijmărescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Octavia's zone, Lucrețiu Gologan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Yebra came out of the goal and Lucrețiu Gologan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Constantino Yebra was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Anton Hurezan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 55 minute of play. In the 59th match minute, Ares FC -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cazimir Dijmărescu to maneuver through the defense. If Lucrețiu Gologan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolás Zárate sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benat Abecia charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benat Abecia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ares FC -MM- booed when Octavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benat Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ares FC -MM-'s Virgil Turceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Cazimir Dijmărescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ares FC -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. In the 73rd minute, Brion Abel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Denis Pădureanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Virgil Turceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Constantino Yebra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Ilie Ciociu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd minute Cazimir Dijmărescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantino Yebra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cazimir Dijmărescu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Constantino Yebra skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the match was over Ares FC -MM- could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Octavia throughout the match.
