Beniamin Wielgopolski started the match with the kick off. When Boruc Laba fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Musztarda Diżą's protests and gave Boruc Laba a yellow card for diving instead. Boruc Laba hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Christos Sakalis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerzy Piechocki's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Boruc Laba got his second yellow card in the match during the 10th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Musztarda Diżą's Boruc Laba got a free kick in the 10th minute. Aureliusz Praski kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. If Jerzy Piechocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jerzy Piechocki blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christos Sakalis having to make a save. After 36 minutes, Tymoteusz Bronkala mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Musztarda Diżą and the Panionios MK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Panionios MK's Christos Sakalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Piechocki in the 42nd minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renos Vasalas to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastian Zalipski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christos Sakalis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Piechocki in the 53rd minute of the match. Iosif Periandros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Bogumil Kanczuszewski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jerzy Piechocki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tymoteusz Bronkala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Sakalis having to interfere. Panionios MK's Christos Sakalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerzy Piechocki in the 62nd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Panionios MK got a freekick which was hit by Grigoris Mamalakis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Piechocki in the 67th minute of play forced Panionios MK's goalkeeper Christos Sakalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Zalipski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Panionios MK's goal looked a bit too open when Jerzy Piechocki came free, but Christos Sakalis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christos Sakalis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerzy Piechocki in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 75 minutes, Sebastian Zalipski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Musztarda Diżą's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Zalipski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee gave Panionios MK a penalty, 80 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Giannis Kazoleas, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Musztarda Diżą's Bogumil Kanczuszewski. 2-0. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Musztarda Diżą's goalkeeper Bogumil Kanczuszewski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Tymoteusz Bronkala's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christos Sakalis was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Jerzy Piechocki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christos Sakalis having to interfere. When Sebastian Zalipski came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Musztarda Diżą fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Zalipski couldn't finish the play. 97 minutes into the game, Jerzy Piechocki recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Christos Sakalis. Jerzy Piechocki showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Musztarda Diżą's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Panionios MK had won, even though Musztarda Diżą had held more of the ball.
