Isidro Camara had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Ramon María Cortés's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonatán Garland in the 19th minute of play forced Assueko F.C.'s goalkeeper Samuel Benavente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Assueko F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Magallanes fully deserved thier win.
