With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edmund Chrobak prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Waka Mineiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barcellos Mineiro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Waka Mineiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmund Chrobak breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 19 minutes into the match, Waka Mineiro notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Kania Gostyń's Edmund Chrobak. Edmund Chrobak was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlinhos Bertassi to maneuver through the defense. Fellipe Souza made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Radomil Kajdasz sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Kania Gostyń was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Pietrowicz didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eriberto Vidal made a kick off.
