Calopsita EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cadu Team the free kick. Cadu Team made a substitution. Allan de Almeida replaced João Paulo Torres. Calopsita EC's Dagoberto Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson Azevedo in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathias Duarte in the 24th minute of play forced Calopsita EC's goalkeeper Dagoberto Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cadu Team's Válbson Azevedo in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calopsita EC's goalie prevented a goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Válbson Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mathias Duarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dagoberto Valadares having to make a save. Dagoberto Valadares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Mathias Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dagoberto Valadares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute, Igor Netto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Agostinho Fantini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Calopsita EC's Dagoberto Valadares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias Duarte in the 60th minute of play. When Válbson Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cadu Team's protests and gave Válbson Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. 70 minutes into the game, Mathias Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Dagoberto Valadares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 74 played minutes Cadu Team got a freekick which was hit by Válbson Azevedo. A collision led to Calopsita EC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Betinho Pombal hit a great ball. Dagoberto Valadares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válbson Azevedo in the 82nd minute of the match. The supporters of Calopsita EC booed when Cadu Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Fabiano Varela didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cadu Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Calopsita EC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
