Sven-Edvin Dahlberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Armandinho Medeiros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Armandinho Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarl Granström in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Glauco Paraibano managed to get in a good position for a shot. América-SC F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Glauco Paraibano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rickard Wallengren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 16th minute, José Pedro de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Jarl Granström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Haymakers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jarl Granström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armandinho Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sven-Edvin Dahlberg came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Haymakers FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Edvin Dahlberg couldn't finish the play. With his leg Armandinho Medeiros managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Haymakers FC's Sven-Edvin Dahlberg fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Armandinho Medeiros was a little too slow when Ted Dahlgren got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 2-1. After 42 played minutes América-SC F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio da Silveira.

After a rather tough play, América-SC F.C.'s José Pedro de Moraes got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Jarl Granström managed to get in a good position for a shot. After 65 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Arman Åberg. Armandinho Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Edvin Dahlberg in the 71st minute of play. América-SC F.C.'s Armandinho Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Edvin Dahlberg in the 71st minute of play. After 73 played minutes Haymakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Karlstedt. 77 minutes into the match, América-SC F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ted Dahlgren came free, but Armandinho Medeiros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haymakers FC were furious when Thomas Karlstedt was red carded, 92 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Luís Henrique scored 3-2 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rickard Wallengren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
