Luís Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Barriobero in the 27th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Ademar Passos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Agustin Vinas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Viseu United's Alfredo Carvalhal got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After 35 played minutes Viseu United got a freekick which was hit by Nicolas Pessoa. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Bustos Teijeira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taltum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Bustos Teijeira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Mota breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Carvalhal struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Agustin Vinas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Viseu United. Agustin Vinas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Viseu United made a substitution. Mateus Morais replaced Benedito Santana. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tobias Júdice was the one to do the kick off. Alfredo Carvalhal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Passos might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agustin Vinas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademar Passos ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Viseu United booed when Taltum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Velarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Viseu United's Tobias Júdice slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Agustin Vinas. That made the score 0-6 after 62 minutes of play. Tobias Júdice received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Agustin Vinas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Mota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Caseres in the 67th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Júdice in the 69th minute of play forced Taltum FC's goalkeeper Agustin Vinas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Carvalhal came free, but Agustin Vinas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute, Viseu United's Ademar Passos ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Agustin Vinas. Agustin Vinas yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Agustin Vinas made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Alfredo Carvalhal sent off a good shot on target.
