A collision led to Clason getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Arturo Quirce hit a great ball. Felipe Ongile charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Ongile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sustrai Madinabeitia in the 7th minute of play forced Clason's goalkeeper Florentino Selmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odol Machicao didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 12th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sustrai Madinabeitia in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florentino Selmo saved Clason from getting behind. The supporters of Clason booed when ConChanfle FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loi Fuentetaja didn't get a good kick on the ball. ConChanfle FC were furious when Senio Ciencabrero was red carded, 20 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 20th minute, one of ConChanfle FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ConChanfle FC. In the 22nd minute, the referee gave Clason a penalty. Felipe Ongile looked confident and blasted the ball into goal by the left post, totally unstoppable for Odol Machicao. The audience was convinced that Sustrai Madinabeitia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Florentino Selmo was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. 29 minutes had been played when some careless play by Clason's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Che Macias was slow to take the kick. During this time ConChanfle FC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Che Macias got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Florentino Selmo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Florentino Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Che Macias in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Vinicio Anaya made a precise shot to the right of Odol Machicao. ConChanfle FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Che Macias managed to get in a good position for a shot. ConChanfle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Che Macias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Florentino Selmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Clason's goal looked a bit too open when Sustrai Madinabeitia came free, but Florentino Selmo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sustrai Madinabeitia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Florentino Selmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Che Macias in the 58th minute of play. When Florencio Abarca fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clason's protests and gave Florencio Abarca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th minute, Florencio Abarca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sustrai Madinabeitia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 62ndth minute tested the skills of Florentino Selmo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 71st match minute, ConChanfle FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tito Cajigal to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute of the match Florencio Abarca shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Odol Machicao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Florentino Selmo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sustrai Madinabeitia went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Vinicio Anaya hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as ConChanfle FC's Sustrai Madinabeitia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Florentino Selmo. That made the score 3-2 after 84 minutes of play. Odol Machicao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Aresti in the 88th minute of play. Sustrai Madinabeitia received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Florentino Selmo came out and tried to block the shot, but Sustrai Madinabeitia slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 91st minute. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
