After a defensive mix-up in Stevnstrup's zone, Boyd Baxter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aslak Nolvi came out of the goal and Boyd Baxter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eldridge Talon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hassan Arningbo in the 9th minute of the match. After 11 minutes of play, Stevnstrup's Marthin Clementsen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eldridge Talon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 16 minutes of play, Stevnstrup's Hassan Arningbo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Topsail's Eldridge Talon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marthin Clementsen in the 20th minute of play. A collision led to Topsail getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Sheldon Felton hit a great ball. After 29 minutes, Sheldon Felton mouthed his way into the referee's book. Stevnstrup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Topsail the free kick. Olaf Ramlov hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Aslak Nolvi acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Armand Billings. Olaf Ramlov was shown his second yellow card after 41 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 41 played minutes Stevnstrup got a freekick which was hit by Olaf Ramlov. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Stevnstrup's Aslak Nolvi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donovan Hachée in the 51st minute of play. When Wilson Friedman fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Topsail's protests and gave Wilson Friedman a yellow card for diving instead. 53 minutes into the game, one of Topsail:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Eldridge Talon, was totally fooled by Stevnstrup's Diego Kahl, who 55 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Eldridge Talon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hassan Arningbo in the 62nd minute. If Fabrice Dunn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Topsail's Armand Billings got a free kick in the 66th minute. After having played for 66 minutes, Diego Kahl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stevnstrup's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Kahl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Stevnstrup's Hassan Arningbo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hassan Arningbo got free with Eldridge Talon in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the match, Fabrice Dunn had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aslak Nolvi. Stevnstrup's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fabrice Dunn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 92nd minute, Fabrice Dunn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Topsail fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4.
