In the 8th minute, Amadeo Erasto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LOS PECES DEL INFIERNO Ψ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After a rather tough play, LOS PECES DEL INFIERNO Ψ's Mateo Ferrando got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute, RIVER's Nicasio Mendebal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Quirce in the 18th minute of play forced RIVER's goalkeeper Julian Salvadore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th match minute, RIVER was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Samuel Lertxun to maneuver through the defense. Julian Salvadore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Quirce in the 20th minute of play. LOS PECES DEL INFIERNO Ψ's Rigoberto Manni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Txordon in the 23rd minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Uriel Txordon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Rigoberto Manni, 2-1. Rigoberto Manni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Txordon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Placido Vimaro took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Rigoberto Manni to make any attempt to save it. In the 46th minute Nicasio Mendebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, RIVER's Uriel Txordon nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rigoberto Manni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Godofredo Quirce made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, LOS PECES DEL INFIERNO Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Mendebal came free, but Rigoberto Manni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of LOS PECES DEL INFIERNO Ψ booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Ixaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rigoberto Manni was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the RIVER defense, Aureliano Telmo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julian Salvadore. The RIVER fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julian Salvadore should have stopped the shot.
