The corner ended in Bernard Trochowski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Olgierd Kisielka did a great save. After a rather tough play, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tom Gorski got a free kick in the 5th minute. After a defensive mix-up in KS Piastów Sosnowiec's zone, Radomir Turek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olgierd Kisielka came out of the goal and Radomir Turek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of KS Piastów Sosnowiec booed when Russówek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadeusz Pozorski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olgierd Kisielka showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Dudek, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Radomir Turek managed to get in a good position for a shot. Russówek's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomir Turek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olgierd Kisielka breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olgierd Kisielka stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeusz Pozorski's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. The audience was convinced that Konrad Dudek's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olgierd Kisielka was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. A collision led to Russówek getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Boleslaw Pstrongowski hit a great ball. In the 21stth minute of the game Lukasz Porajewski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Russówek's Lech Nakoneczny was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The corner ended in Wincenty Marchlewicz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Russówek's Lech Nakoneczny did a great save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radomir Turek in the 25th minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Olgierd Kisielka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 26 played minutes KS Piastów Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Remigiusz Zywiec. The supporters of Russówek booed when KS Piastów Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filip Ruszkowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernard Trochowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 28th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Olgierd Kisielka. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Filip Ruszkowski could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Lech Nakoneczny however easily saved by the left post. 38 minutes into the game, Russówek's Leszek Psotka nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olgierd Kisielka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Olgierd Kisielka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leszek Psotka, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 44th minute, Tadeusz Pozorski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Konrad Dudek made a kick off. Konrad Dudek kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Russówek getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Radomir Turek hit a great ball. Olgierd Kisielka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomir Turek in the 65th minute of play. Lech Nakoneczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wincenty Marchlewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Olgierd Kisielka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save KS Piastów Sosnowiec from getting a goal against them. 75 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Olgierd Kisielka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leszek Psotka. In the 78th minute, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Tom Gorski seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Tom Gorski the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KS Piastów Sosnowiec protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Tom Gorski had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Tom Gorski kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Russówek's Bernard Trochowski shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 80th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Olgierd Kisielka but with some difficulty. Filip Ruszkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Konrad Dudek's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 88thth minute, Olgierd Kisielka skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 91st minute Radomir Turek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olgierd Kisielka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Filip Ruszkowski made a precise shot to the right of Lech Nakoneczny. Russówek's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Russówek were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
