Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yuri Moreira to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Hílton Brodel got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 55th minute of the match, Silviu Ponor got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sandro Penha was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sandro Penha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rua Ferreira Viana F.C.'s Sandro Penha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudiu Tâlvescu in the 78th minute of play. Sandro Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ovidiu Cerghizan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the game, Dacians Academy's Ovidiu Cerghizan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandro Penha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Sandro Penha was a little too slow when Ovidiu Cerghizan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 0-8. Sandro Penha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ovidiu Cerghizan, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Dacians Academy's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
