Mathys Mora showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fergus McGhee in the 9th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Fergus McGhee shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duncan Ennis charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duncan Ennis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gavião Kyikatejê! 16 minutes into the game, Blair Armstrong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Mathys Mora was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Declan McInroy charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Declan McInroy the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Gavião Kyikatejê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Declan McInroy to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stevie McMaster in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Saubrigues's goalkeeper Mathys Mora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Innes McWalter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Faudel Langlois in the 25th minute of play. Gavião Kyikatejê's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Raphaël Giacometti scored to the left of an out of position Innes McWalter, making the score, 2-1. 30 minutes into the game, Gavião Kyikatejê's Richard McNeish nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mathys Mora made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. 35 minutes into the match, Blair Armstrong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mathys Mora. FC Saubrigues's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Blair Armstrong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Blair Armstrong in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mathys Mora prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Camille Roca kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Mathys Mora stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richard McNeish's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. In the 44th minute Richard McNeish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute Richard McNeish shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathys Mora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richard McNeish was the one to do the kick off. Gavião Kyikatejê's supporters rose to their feet, but Stevie McMaster was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathys Mora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Richard McNeish got free with Mathys Mora in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathys Mora was a little too slow when Richard McNeish got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 64th minute. The score was now 2-4. In the 69th match minute, Gavião Kyikatejê was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil McKirdy to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Gavião Kyikatejê defense, Raphaël Giacometti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Innes McWalter. The Gavião Kyikatejê fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Innes McWalter should have stopped the shot. Richard McNeish could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Mathys Mora made a huge save. 80 minutes into the game, Fergus McGhee recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mathys Mora. Fergus McGhee showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-5. 83 minutes into the match, FC Saubrigues's goal looked a bit too open when Terry McAngus came free, but Mathys Mora reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Fergus McGhee dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mathys Mora, 3-6. FC Saubrigues's Mathys Mora proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save FC Saubrigues from getting a goal against them. Mathys Mora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fergus McGhee in the 93rd minute of play. Gavião Kyikatejê played a much better game than FC Saubrigues and deserved their victory. The FC Saubrigues players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
