Farafulla FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Omar Fortun scored to the left of an out of position Francesco Talamo, making the score, 1-0. The supporters of Farafulla FC booed when CADU de Zarate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Mambru didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Demetrio Domenici had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CADU de Zarate's Melquiades Dolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elia Fantasia in the 32nd minute of play. Melquiades Dolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Fantasia in the 35th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Elia Fantasia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Dolfo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. 38 minutes into the match, Adriano Volta notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of CADU de Zarate's Melquiades Dolfo. Melquiades Dolfo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Melquiades Dolfo came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Farafulla FC's Demetrio Domenici. But to his dismay, Demetrio Domenici quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 44th match minute, Farafulla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Demetrio Domenici to maneuver through the defense. Omar Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Francesco Talamo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Farafulla FC's Demetrio Domenici got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Demetrio Domenici stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Demetrio Domenici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Dolfo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elia Fantasia in the 55th minute of the match. If Rolando Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Farafulla FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 85 minutes into the match, Farafulla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Fortun came free, but Francesco Talamo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
