After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Isidoro Cordarryl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carboncito's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidoro Cordarryl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dráuzio Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Rodrigo Romelio put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dráuzio Souza. Dráuzio Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Cordarryl in the 16th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guarei FC's Celsinho Monteiro got a free kick in the 21st minute. Dráuzio Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidoro Cordarryl in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodrigo Romelio in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dráuzio Souza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodrigo Romelio got free with Dráuzio Souza in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adan Ospin kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Romeu Peixoto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javier Bastian was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rodrigo Romelios short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Dráuzio Souza to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Dráuzio Souza made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Rodrigo Romelio sent off a good shot on target. Vito Quintal hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Urbano Libertad sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guarei FC's Dráuzio Souza didn't even have to move.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rodrigo Romelio to make the kick off. After 54 minutes, Ruperto Corderall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carboncito and the Guarei FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Guarei FC booed when Carboncito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruperto Corderall didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Carboncito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eleuterio Steven to maneuver through the defense.
