The supporters of WINNING ELEVEN booed when Gaviotas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Ursino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 minutes of play, WINNING ELEVEN's Juan Riquelme made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Asur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Juan Riquelme charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Riquelme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, WINNING ELEVEN's Juan Riquelme got a free kick in the 11th minute. When WINNING ELEVEN's Ulises Abel in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gaviotas FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Gaviotas FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Fabricio Jakobe hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Juan Riquelme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Asur was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Pedro Asur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Abel, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After 30 played minutes Gaviotas FC got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Jakobe. Ulises Abel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Ulises Abel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Asur was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Armando Pietro kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Juan Riquelme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Asur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Elias Ursino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gaviotas FC and the WINNING ELEVEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd match minute, Gaviotas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Ursino to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, Gaviotas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ulises Abel came free, but Pedro Asur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jaime Jerico to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulino Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Pedro Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Isidro Vimaro replaced Fabricio Jakobe. Gaviotas FC made a substitution. Patricio Oriol replaced Elias Ursino. Oscar Guerrero hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Juan Riquelme kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Asur. That made the score 0-4 in the 61 minute of play. Oscar Guerrero hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Sebastian Gimenez struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Celedonio Urtzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gaviotas FC. Gaviotas FC's Jaime Jerico got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paulino Lizer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Pedro Asur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gaviotas FC's zone, Ulises Abel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Asur came out of the goal and Ulises Abel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Asur was a little too slow when Ulises Abel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 0-5. The WINNING ELEVEN players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
