In the 4th minute, Aleksander Gollob left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Vęgoria Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. James Uribe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waclaw Ochylski having to interfere. Jonah Peck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cyprian Fiszer in the 12th minute of the match. El Canalla de Chicago's Monty Stout got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 20 played minutes Monty Stout rounded Vęgoria Team's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vęgoria Team's goalkeeper Waclaw Ochylski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Monty Stout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Waclaw Ochylski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Corcoran charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julian Corcoran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cyprian Fiszer struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Jonah Peck didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vęgoria Team. 37 minutes into the game, Damian Lepucki threw the ball into play from the sideline. El Canalla de Chicago's A.J. Fernandez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Monty Stout blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waclaw Ochylski having to make a save. If Clark Lindsey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clark Lindsey made a kick off. When Kermit DeJesus fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Canalla de Chicago's protests and gave Kermit DeJesus a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes El Canalla de Chicago got a freekick which was hit by Kermit DeJesus. Rudolph Thurman kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 61st minute Clark Lindsey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waclaw Ochylski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that James Uribe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waclaw Ochylski was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. In the 64th minute, Monty Stout ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Waclaw Ochylski was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. El Canalla de Chicago made a substitution. Cobi Babcock replaced A.J. Fernandez. After 70 minutes, Edward Dziatkowski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vęgoria Team and the El Canalla de Chicago players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vęgoria Team getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Edward Dziatkowski hit a great ball. James Uribe took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Waclaw Ochylski. Waclaw Ochylski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. The supporters of Vęgoria Team booed when El Canalla de Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emmanuel Akers didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. El Canalla de Chicago had won after a very even match.
