When Irinel Birișu came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinel Birișu couldn't finish the play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Traian Opaina fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's protests and gave Traian Opaina a yellow card for diving instead. Traian Opaina hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Ludomir Wiatrak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emil Inculeț having to make a save. In the 77th minute Vlad Arsenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Konstanty Pyczkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Konstanty Pyczkowski didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV's Iosif Boldișor shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Silviu Cutieru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Konstanty Pyczkowski came out of the goal and Irinel Birișu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 97 minutes into the match, Nojwiynksze Chachary 04's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Boldișor came free, but Konstanty Pyczkowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee ended the match the MCB Timisoara 1921 BTV players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
