Laerte Fernandes scored 4-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wincenty Popowicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Laerte Fernandes struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Wincenty Popowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Classe A Futebol Clube. In the 21st minute, Classe A Futebol Clube's Laerte Pinheiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wincenty Popowicz. Wincenty Popowicz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-0. In the 25th minute Laerte Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Popowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FA Sandtown defense, Laerte Pinheiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wincenty Popowicz. The FA Sandtown fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wincenty Popowicz should have stopped the shot. Wincenty Popowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 46th minute Laerte Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wincenty Popowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laerte Fernandes was the one to do the kick off. After 52nd play minutes Belmiro Meira shot 8-0, a short shot which went by Wincenty Popowicz and just under the crossbar into goal. After a rather tough play, FA Sandtown's Remigiusz Malicki got a free kick in the 55th minute. FA Sandtown's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando Pitta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-0. After 72 minutes of play, Classe A Futebol Clube's Laerte Fernandes made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wincenty Popowicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wincenty Popowicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laerte Fernandes went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 11-0 was the resulting score. Wincenty Popowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Fernandes in the 81st minute of the match. 82 minutes into the match, FA Sandtown's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Fernandes came free, but Wincenty Popowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute, Gernando Pitta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Classe A Futebol Clube walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
