Felix Laurentzis short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Sixto Foro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fabio Herauso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Txindoki in the 10th minute of play. Remigio Estebe hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. A collision led to Club Atletico Fenix getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Anacleto Martxelin hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Matia in the 13th minute of play forced Club Atletico Fenix's goalkeeper Fabio Herauso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Prospero Matia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Felix Laurentzi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Foro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Corralito AFC's goalkeeper Sixto Foro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felix Laurentzi succeeded in the game's 20th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. After 27 minutes, Victoriano Evangelista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Corralito AFC and the Club Atletico Fenix players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Club Atletico Fenix booed when Corralito AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Evangelista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sixto Foro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Laurentzi in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Prospero Matia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Herauso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Celso Figueroa fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Fenix's protests and gave Celso Figueroa a yellow card for diving instead. Celso Figueroa hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Fabio Herauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Matia, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Sixto Foro came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Fenix's Anacleto Martxelin. But to his dismay, Anacleto Martxelin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Prospero Matia to make the kick off. 2-2 became the score in the 55th minute when Prospero Matia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Prospero Matia in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fabio Herauso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Prospero Matia had several of the Club Atletico Fenix's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 61 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Fabio Herauso as he didn't even see the shot coming. 65 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Fenix's Ivan Poncio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sixto Foro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 67 played minutes Club Atletico Fenix got a freekick which was hit by Damian Quintun. A hard shot by Santos Selatse from long distance, 68 minutes into the match, got Fabio Herauso's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After 76 played minutes Corralito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Derwin. If Edelmiro Loiola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, Prospero Matia notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of Club Atletico Fenix's Fabio Herauso. Fabio Herauso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With his leg Fabio Herauso managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Corralito AFC's Prospero Matia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Club Atletico Fenix's Felix Laurentzi got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Corralito AFC's Amadeo Txindoki got a free kick in the 96th minute. Aldo Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Corralito AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
